BGC acquires Radix
Interdealer broker BGC has purchased Singapore-based broker Radix Energy, enabling BGC to offer voice and electronic brokerage services for products such as crude oil, naptha, middle distillates, fuel oil and freight.
“World energy markets have experienced the same tremendous volatility as elsewhere in recent months and acquiring Radix Energy gives BGC the opportunity to offer existing clients access to these markets,” says Shaun Lynn, president of BGC.
Richard Tan, founder and managing director of Radix, will remain with the business as a managing director responsible for BGC’s energy division, reporting
