Few firms disclose financial impact of climate risk, review finds

Climate-related risk disclosures are on the rise but few contain sufficient details of the financial impact of climate change on a company, according to a review of disclosures from 1,700 companies.

“While the task force found some of the results of its disclosure review encouraging, it also recognised further work is needed for disclosures to contain more decision-useful climate-related information,” says the report from the Financial Stability Board’s (FSB) Task Force on Climate-related
