Credit Suisse sheds top metals trader and Emea sales chief

Veteran salesman Kamal Naqvi leaves metals trading and European commodity sales roles following Swiss bank’s decision to wind down commodities business

Kamal Naqvi, the London-based global head of metals trading and head of commodity sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Credit Suisse, left his dual roles in October as the Swiss bank continues to wind down its commodities business, sources say.

Naqvi is still formally employed by Credit Suisse but is expected to leave the bank in the near future, according to one source familiar with the situation.

Credit Suisse announced on July 22 that it was exiting most of its commodity trading
