Tetsu Emori, chief fund manager at commodities-focused asset manager Astmax, talks to Energy Risk about the firm’s trading strategy and his commodities outlook for Asian investors

Founded in 1992, Astmax (Advanced Strategic Trading Management & Advisory) is a Tokyo-based commodity-focused hedge fund manager and commodity trading advisor (CTA) firm. Owned by Astmax Co, the asset management division has assets under management of $450 million. The firm is a member of the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Tokyo Grain Exchange, Central Japan Commodity Exchange, Dubai Mercantile Exchange, NYSE Liffe US and Comex (CME Group).
