A professor at Yale for 11 years, K. Geert Rouwenhorst is probably most familiar to readers of Energy Risk as the co-author of Facts and fantasies about commodity futures, a 2005 paper written with Gary Gorton, then professor of banking and finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which espoused the portfolio diversification benefits of commodities.
