Foot on the gas
Gazprom Marketing and Trading entered the UK in 1999 with ambitious plans. Today it has a presence in six European countries and trades power, oil, coal and liquefied natural gas. Roderick Bruce meets head of trading Keith Martin and business development manager Klaus Reinisch
What is the mission statement and main remit of Gazprom Marketing and Trading (GM&T)?
Keith Martin: Our vision is to be the leading energy marketing and trading company in liberalising markets, and our mission is "to maximise the value of our supply portfolio by delivering energy to customers through competitive and innovative product offerings". The interesting word in there is "energy", because now we're looking at the whole energy complex, not just gas.
