Vanessa Kargenian
Vanessa Kargenian is a Supervising Examiner in IT Operations Risk at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is considered a FR-System subject matter expert on fintech and emerging technologies; covering the space since early 2014. Ms. Kargenian stood up and co-led an internal FR-System working group on digital currencies/blockchain from 2014-2016, has been a key contributing author for several briefings and two international papers, and is generally interested in the aggregate impact emerging technologies are having on the overall economy and financial sector. She holds a Master of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
