Nico Kritzinger
Nico Kritzinger’s career began as a risk analyst in 2006: he worked for South Africa’s Imperial Bank (Johannesburg) for several years before the merger with Nedbank. Nico managed credit risk scoring and securitisation analysis over his four-year tenure with Imperial. After the merger, he worked for Nedbank as a senior risk analyst focussing on acquisition scoring and regulatory capital models. In 2014, Nico was appointed as a quantitative analytics manager with core responsibilities of acquisition scoring, regulatory capital models and impairments (IFRS9) modelling. In 2017, he obtained a PhD in credit risk analysis.
