Milagros Vivel Búa, graduated in Business Management and Economics (Honours), master in banking, finance and insurance, and PhD in Corporate Finance from University of Santiago de Compostela (Honours). She is currently an associate professor in accounting and finance department at the Faculty of Business at the University of Santiago. Her main research interest lies in the international finance and risk management and she won two awards with papers relating these areas. She has published in The European Journal of Finance, The Czech Journal of Economics and Finance, Feminist Economics, International Economic and Finance Journal, Spanish Journal of Finance and Accounting, BRQ Business Research Quarterly, European Journal of Scientific Research, Tourism and Management Studies, among other journals.
