Maia Chiabrishvili

Maia Chiabrishvili is Professor of Economics in the School of Business Administration at American University of the Middle East. She teaches economics classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level. She has extensive experience in teaching business related subjects at different universities in Georgia. At Booz Allen Hamilton, she led a team on business sustainability after donor disengagement in the post-Soviet states. She also implemented program defense budgeting in the Armed Forces of Georgia (Ministry of Defense). Her research interests include education in multicultural environments and defense economics. Her research findings have been presented at international conferences and published in high-ranking journals. She is a senior reviewer for International Academic Forum (IAFOR).
