
Lewis Makosa
Lewis Makosa, a recipient of the Chinese Government Scholarship, is the first international student to study for a Ph.D. in the School of Accountancy, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics. He holds a Masters in accounting (2014) and Bachelors in accounting (2012) from Midlands State University, Gweru. He is also licensed by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Zimbabwe as a certified public accountant (CPA). His research interests include the financial effects of targeted economic sanctions on non-targeted firms and corporate financial constraints. He has published several papers in the International Journal of Finance and Economics, the Scottish Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, and others.
