Laura Casula graduated in statistics at the University of Bologna and deals with statistical applications in various sectors, with particular reference to the healthcare and clinical research fields. With the attainment of a PhD at the University of Cagliari in quantitative finance, she expands her research interests to the field of the theory of stochastic processes and their applications in finance, insurance, economics, reliability and renewable energies. She currently holds the position of statistical officer for the National Health Service.
