Hüseyin Öcal

Hüseyin Öcal possesses nineteen years of diverse non-academic experience, including thirteen years in the financial sector (such as banking) and six years in non-financial sectors (including textiles and telecommunications). He has accumulated hands-on expertise in areas such as internal audit, credit risk management, credit marketing and sales, bank branch management, revenue assurance, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). Since 2017, he has served as an Associate Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University in Turkey. He earned a Doctorate of Philosophy, focusing on corporate governance, from the University of Marmara in Turkey. Furthermore, he holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado in the United States.
