Hannes Huhtaniemi

Hannes Huhtaniemi works in the area of prudential regulation for financial institutions in the European Commission. Previously he worked in the areas of resolution and crisis management of bank and nonbank institutions and in the regulation of securities markets. Prior to joining the European Commission, Mr Huhtaniemi worked in the European Parliament as a political adviser, and in the area of press relations. He has a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge and a Master in European Affairs from the University of Lund.
