M.sc Francisco Castaneda is a data engineer and developer at emsys grid services GmbH Germany, graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Colombia, and specialized at the University of Applied Sciences of Offenburg in data management for forecasting variables in the energy sector. He has worked on several projects in areas such as: the design of electrical solutions, energy optimization, renewable energy generation forecasting, grid calculations, and energy pricing development, and currently on topics related to the migration to “Redispatch 2.0” in the German power grid.
