Francesco De Luca, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Accounting, at the Department of Business Administration and Management of the University of the Studies "G. d'Annunzio" in Chieti-Pescara. He is Director of the Master Program in Economics and Management (LM77) and Professor of Financial Statement Analysis within the same Master Program. Visiting scholar at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (USA) within the School of Business, Department of Finance and Accounting in 2012 and 2014. Associate of AAA (American Accounting Association). His primary areas of research include international accounting standards convergence, venturing and star-up finance and financial distress analysis.
