Edgar Mai is a financial markets expert with a proven track record of helping financial companies designing robust IT trading solutions. Prior to his current role as a CEO of Mainstay, he was a Manager at KPMG Financial Services.

With more than 15 years of consulting experience, Edgar Mai has worked on several valuable projects, including the migration of the German security trading market Xetra to the new T7 trading platform of the Deutsche Börse.

He holds a Master Degree in Economics from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

One of his favourite hobbies is cooking and participating in the cooking contests.
