Anton Abdulbasah Kamil

Anton Abdulbasah Kamil currently holds the position of Professor of Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University in Istanbul, Turkey, a role he has fulfilled since 2019. Prior to this, he was a Professor of Econometrics at Universiti Sains Malaysia in Penang, Malaysia, from 2000 to 2016. Professor Kamil began his tertiary education at Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) in Bandung, Indonesia, from which he graduated in 1988. He subsequently obtained his Master of Science degree in 1993 from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in Bogor, Indonesia, and in 1998, he completed his Doctorate at the University of Economics (VSE) in Prague, Czech Republic. He serves on the editorial board of two international journals and has been appointed to various committee positions at numerous international conferences. In addition, he is an active member of several global professional associations relevant to his field of expertise.
