Guanghui Han the director of the Financial Engineering Department of School of Management Engineering and Business and Hebei University of Engineering. He teaches undergraduate courses in financial economics, financial engineering, and econometrics, and postgraduate courses in models and methods in management and introduction to financial markets.

His research interests include financial risk management and financial data analysis. He has guided students to participate in financial discipline competitions and won several awards, presided over or participated in more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial level scientific research and teaching research projects, and published more than 30 journal papers.

A study of China’s financial market risks in the context of Covid-19, based on a rolling generalized autoregressive score model using the asymmetric Laplace distribution

The authors construct a risk measurement model for the financial market during the Covid-19 pandemic, using data from the Shanghai Stock Exchange for empirical analysis.
