Ricardo Gimeno

Ricardo Gimeno is Deputy Head of the Operations Department in Banco de España and Member of the Market Operations Committee of the Eurosystem, in charge of the implementation of the Monetary Policy of the Euro area. He has also worked in the Network for Greening the Financial System to set green standards for asset managers for the Sustainable and Responsible Investment Task Force to improve the disclosure of Climate Change exposures. He has also worked for the European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund, and has taught at main Business Schools in Madrid such as ICADE, CUNEF, CEU, CEMFI and NYU Madrid. As a researcher, he has several papers on financial markets, monetary policy and corporate governance, published in journals such as Review of Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Business Ethics, British Management Journal and European Management Journal.
