S. M. Riad Shams
S. M. Riad Shams is a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Northumbria, UK. Prior to joining Northumbria University, he worked in academia and industry in Australia, Bangladesh, and Russia. He completed his doctoral research at Central Queensland University, Australia. His MBA and BBA (honors in marketing) have been awarded by the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Shams has contributed articles to top-tier international journals, and guest edited for various reputed journals, namely, the Journal of International Management, the International Marketing Review, the Journal of Business Research, Management International Review, and others. Dr Shams was awarded the Emerald Literati Award – Outstanding Paper in 2019, Emerald Literati Award – Outstanding Reviewer in 2018, and the EuroMed Research Contributor Award in 2014. He is one of the top ten most cited authors in Social Business.
