Daniel S. Fenn
Dr. Dan Fenn is a Computational Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His primary field of interest is physics simulation, including computational fluid dynamics, astrophysics, and plasma opacity. An additional field of interest is the application of machine-learning methods to physics simulation software. Prior to his current position, Dan worked as a civilian with HQ AF/A9, where he applied high-performance computing methods to USAF problems of interest. He earned a PhD in Computational Physics from Florida State University, and a BS in Physics from Utah State University.
