The Capital Holdings group of funds started in 1969 with the launch of Leveraged Capital Holdings. This was the first multi-manager fund of its type in the world. It runs an equity long/short strategy. It was followed in March 1993 by the Asian Capital Holdings fund and in November 1998 by European Capital Holdings (ECH), both also following an equity long/short strategy. In July 2003 the Trading Capital Holdings fund, which focuses on equity, foreign exchange, fixed income and commodity markets
