Hedge Funds Review Service Provider Rankings Americas 2015 open
Hedge Funds Review Service Provider Rankings Americas 2015 cover a wide range of services and give an insight into what managers and investors value
Now in their fifth year, the Hedge Funds Review Service Provider Rankings offer hedge fund managers and investors the opportunity to vote for their favourite service providers.
This year, the rankings will be in two parts, with the current tranche aimed at discovering the best service providers in the Americas.
In previous years the rankings have attracted a high calibre of respondents. Eligible to vote were individuals from single-manager hedge funds and funds of hedge funds, and investors such as family offices, insurance offices, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds.
Last year, 11% of those polled were chief executives, 12% were directors and 9% were portfolio managers. More than half worked in institutions with assets under management less than $100 million. Just over 16% of respondents worked in institutions with assets under management of more than $1 billion. Three-quarters of respondents work in asset management, while less than a tenth said they were consultants and 8% private investors.
The results also provide an insight into which providers are offering exceptional service to the industry. For some categories, providers are ranked on certain aspects of the service they provide. This year's rankings will offer the same unique view on this segment of the hedge funds industry, looking at specific services by fund administrators, prime brokers, accountants, legal services and managed account and Ucits platform providers.
The results of the survey will show not only who is the preferred service provider in a number of categories, but should also give an insight into where clients would like to see improvements and what aspects of offerings are most valued.
Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes and it can be accessed here.
The closing date for the poll is June 26, 2015.
The results of the rankings will be available in a special report to be published online.
