Wessex Natural Resource Fund - July 2008

The Wessex Natural Resources Fund builds on the key strengths of Wessex Asset Management in the resources sector. WAM co-founder Peter Chesterfield is a geologist and mining analyst by background.

The other co-founder and joint fund manager with Richard Dennis, is Tim Weir. He is an economist and launched his first resource fund in the early 1980s. Wier also managed one of the world’s biggest gold equity funds at Swiss Bank Corporation before setting up WAM.
