Brownstone Asset Management runs one of the most consistently profitable credit strategies in the hedge fund world. The Brownstone Partners Catalyst Master Fund has generated annualised returns of 9.53% since inception in 2004 with standard deviation of 3.1%, giving it a Sharpe ratio of 2.1.

The quality of Brownstone’s returns is a result of its investment strategy which eschews leverage and focuses on meticulously researched long and short bets in liquid corporate credit instruments.
