Hedge Funds Review talks to Dixon Boardman about one of the oldest fund of funds in the industry, the Optima Managed Futures Fund

The Optima Managed Futures fund must be one of the oldest funds of funds featured in the performance league tables. Dixon Boardman, the urbane chairman of the $2bn Optima Group, describes the fund as a 'Steady Eddie futures fund.'

The $100m managed futures fund started life 12 years ago, with Boardman investing in what he felt at the time were the 'legends of the industry' ' 'and we haven't changed the format much since then,' he says.
