Energy Brokers Association adds three new members
The Washington DC-based Energy Brokers Association (EBA) yesterday admitted three new members and confirmed a series of first meetings with key associations within the US energy markets. The EBA was set up in November 2001 with the goal of co-ordinating efforts to define and adopt best practices for over-the-counter energy brokers.
Regulatory and operational meetings have so far been conducted with the Committee of Chief Risk Officers, the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Electric Power Suppliers Association and the Natural Gas Suppliers Association, the EBA said. The association also said it will hold its first general meeting in New York this week.
