Christopher Finger - Federal Reserve Board
Christopher C. Finger is responsible for research and communications in support of MSCI and RiskMetrics risk management and investment decision support tools. Prior to joining MSCI, Mr Finger served as head of research at RiskMetrics Group, of which he was one of the founders. In this capacity, he was responsible for coordinating research across the firm's risk business, and for overseeing all RiskMetrics Group research publications.
Prior to this role, Mr Finger managed the credit products business, where he was responsible for services related to credit trading, economic capital and structured products, including the CreditGrades, CreditManager and CDOManager product lines.
Mr Finger is the author of numerous articles in the risk management field, and was one of the twenty most cited authors in Risk Magazine over the past twenty years. Before joining RiskMetrics Group, Mr Finger worked in Risk Management Services at JP Morgan, where he co-authored the CreditMetrics Technical Document.
Mr Finger holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Princeton University, and a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Duke University.
