European regulators have urged US authorities to maintain close co-operation with international partners on cross-border bank resolution, especially in drafting rules for total loss-absorbing capacity (TLAC). The comments echo concerns among foreign banks with American subsidiaries that proposed US TLAC requirements would undermine coherent resolution planning.
