Securitisation industry group claims Europe faces big financing shortfall – and pushes securitisation as the answer

Europe faces a €4 trillion funding gap in the coming five years as banks shrink their balance sheets and adjust to a raft of new capital and liquidity rules. That's according to a report released today by Prime Collateralised Securities (PCS) – an industry initiative that is designed to rehabilitate securitisation markets following the crisis.
