JP Morgan has appointed Maxence Hardy and Louis Moussu to serve as co-heads of quantitative research within the bank’s equities business, taking over the multiple responsibilities of Hans Buehler, who departed for XTX Markets earlier this year.

Hardy joined the bank in 2010 as an electronic trading quant, rising to become global head of prime finance quant research in 2019 and, most recently, global head of cross-asset sales in the bank’s analytics, automation and optimisation quant research
