Jefferies & Co makes aother senior equity derivatives hire

New York-headquartered investment bank Jefferies & Company has hired Jason Glover as a senior equity derivatives trader in its new equity derivatives trading group. Glover was previously a portfolio manager in the emerging managers fund at US alternative investments firm Pequot Capital.

Jefferies & Company has recruited several senior equity derivatives personnel over the past two months, including Glover’s new boss, Alex Wohl, who moved to become head of equity derivatives trading, along with Ben Cohen and Mike George, who both joined as senior equity derivatives traders. Wohl, Cohen, George and Glover all previously worked together at Goldman Sachs.

"Having previously worked with Jason, I am confident that he will be a tremendous asset for our team,” Wohl said. “His strong client relationships and recent experience as a client will be invaluable to our growing, customer-driven business.”
