German MEP “appalled” by “irresponsible” council as Omnibus II trilogue negotiations resume

The Council of the European Union is steamrolling over European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (Eiopa) proposals for the treatment of products with long-term guarantees (LTGs) during the latest Omnibus II trilogue negotiations, according to a member of the European Parliament's Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee (Econ).
