The prices of energy commodities and an array of new regulations are among the factors posing challenges to NRG Energy and other industry participants, says the US-based utility’s chief risk officer, Glenn Mackey, in a video interview.
Speaking on the sidelines of Energy Risk Summit USA in Houston, Mackey cites low prices for oil, natural gas and power as having an impact on gross margins and earnings for commodity market participants.
