Sergei Kucherenko

Sergei Kucherenko received his MSc degree and PhD in applied mathematical physics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, USSR. He has held a number of research and faculty positions in various universities in Russia, the United States, the UK and Italy. He has also worked in investment banking and is currently a Senior Research Fellow at Imperial College London. He is also a founder of BRODA Ltd., UK which provides consultancy services and advanced software to investment banks and financial companies in the area of Monte Carlo and Quasi Monte Carlo.

The authors propose a randomized quasi-Monte Carlo method which outperforms both the Monte Carlo and standard quasi-Monte Carlo methods.
