Top 50 Global Custody Mandates Survey 2011
2011's Top 50 Custody Mandates survey provides an assessment of a global industry emerging from the turbulence of the financial crisis. Though another difficult 12 months for custodians, large mandates have still steadily emerged.
The game has changed for global custodians. Twelve months ago market participants were contending over mandates that produced a Top 50 combined asset value of around $1180 billion. Fast-forward a year and this has declined considerably. The total asset value of mandates won by custodians in 2010 has equalled $880 billion, which is a 25% decrease since last year.
