The scenario-based approach – good data is essential

New York – Preparing data for a scenario- based analysis is like selecting coffee for a coffee maker, according to Ulrich Anders, head of operational risk at Dresdner Bank in Germany. Anders presented the scenario-based approach (SBA) working group’s section of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s conference on Leading edge issues in operational risk measurement in New York at the end of May.
