Christopher Cox

Michel Prada, president of French regulator the Autorite des Marches Financiers, has stepped down as president of the technical committee of the Madrid-based International Organisation of Securities Commissions (Iosco). Iosco has confirmed that Christopher Cox, chairman of US regulator the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), will fill the role. Prada vacated the position after releasing Iosco's report on the subprime crisis and a new voluntary code of conduct for credit rating agencies
