New tool targets FERC enforcement actions

Database created by former FERC enforcement director aims to create more transparency around notices

A database launched this week aims to track the growing body of US power sector reliability enforcement actions, allowing electricity companies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The database was compiled by law firm Hogan Lovells’ Susan Court, who served as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC’s) first director of enforcement prior to leaving the Commission in 2009.
