Portfolio additions are in the pipeline for CDC Ixis

absolute returns planned for french asset manager's range

Paris-based asset manager CDC Ixis Asset Management is looking to add further portfolios and structured products to its hedge fund range in Luxembourg and France.

The range will focus more on absolute return targets than those relative to Libor rates.

Isabelle Reux-Brown, director of alternative structured asset management at CDC Ixis AM, said the firm was hoping to launch a more aggressive leveraged version of its European convertible arbitrage fund, plus a global multi-strategy macro fund and
